1.3 Electrical locking mechanisms
In addition to the holding force of the drives (at one or more locking points), larger windows often require an additional locking drive. This ensures the performance classes defined in DIN EN 14351-1 are met - particularly with regard to wind load, driving rain tightness and airtightness. Alternatively, our holding magnets can also be used on inward-opening bottom-hung sashes, for example, to ensure secure locking without an additional latch drive.
